Bangladeshi passport holders and citizens of other countries can apply for Chinese visas at the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Dhaka, Bangladesh. However, non-Bangladeshi citizens must provide a document of immigration status in Bangladesh, i.e., citizen endorsement, residence or work permit, student visa, etc.

Chinese Visa Requirements:
Step 1: Documents for online visa application
- Passport with minimum seven (07) months validity and at least 02 blank pages
- Previous passports
- A recent white colour background photo is 48mm x 33mm in size.
- Citizen endorsement, work permit, or student visa for non-Bangladeshi passport holders.
- Visiting card
- Trade license copy for business person
- No objection certificate (NOC) for the job holder
- Personal/company bank statement for the last six (06) months with a minimum balance of 3,00,000/- taka
- Bank solvency certificate
- Company letterhead pad
- Student ID card copy (for student)
- Birth Certificate (only for child & infant)
Step 2: Complete the Online Visa Application Form:
Complete the online application form and wait for the preliminary check.
Step 3: Appointment for Video Interview (if required) and Document Submission:
- You can check the preliminary assessment result of the application, which you can find in “Track My Application” once you submit your application.
- If the result shows “Passport to be submitted,” then a video interview may be needed for some visa. After the interview is approved, all the necessary documents must be submitted at the Embassy on office working days from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Step 4: Fingerprints collection (if required):
- Some applicants will be requested to have their fingerprints collected.
Step-5: Passport Collection:
- Pay for the visa application and bring the passport pickup.
